The Third and Fifth Armies, by a swift thrust to the East, completed the Omsk operation by capturing the city of Omsk and other populated points, where they took many prisoners and rich military booty.

All this was achieved only thanks to the extreme exertion of all workers of the III and V Armies, who endured great hardships during the rapid offensive of the Red Army in Siberia.

By way of compensation for the efforts of the participants in the Omsk operation, the Council of Workers' and Peasants' Defense decreed:

To issue one month's salary to the entire complement of the III and V Armies that took part in the Omsk operation.
