RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF DEFENCE
DECEMBER 10, 1919
The Third and Fifth Armies, with a swift onslaught in the East,
concluded the Omsk operation with the capture of the city of Omsk and other populated
areas, where they captured many prisoners and rich military booty.
All this was achieved only thanks to the extreme exertion
of forces of all workers of the III and V armies, who endured great
hardships during the rapid offensive of the Red Army in Siberia.
To compensate for the expenditures of the participants in the Omsk operation, the Council
of Workers' and Peasants' Defence resolved:
To issue to the entire personnel of the III and V armies who participated in the Omsk
operation, a month's salary.
Chairman of the Council of Defence
