TELEGRAM TO THE SIMBIRSK PROVINCIAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
TO PIY OF THE PROVINCIAL FOOD CONFERENCE, VOLGO-FOOD
November 8, 1919
Despite my telegram of October 15 No. 907, Volga-Food’s
authorized representative Katsepo reports that on November 4, when
the Volga-Bugulma railway supplied the wagons, the loaders did not
come to work. I demand an explanation for such a negligent attitude
towards the needs of the starving center. The repetition of the pointless
delay of wagons, the failure to take measures to organize loaders
is completely unacceptable and will entail severe punishment.
Responsibility is placed on the chairman of the provincial executive committee. Report immediately on the measures taken.

November 19, 1919

To the esteemed Comrade Vladimir Ilyich from I. Boitsov (Egorov)
Statement
In response to gifts from the Butyrsky district to
Red Army soldiers of the Turkestan Front, the Red Army comrades
sent the district a load of flour, and the district, having the appropriate
papers, received this load. As for the personal cargo of the accompanying personnel,
why since they did not have any papers for its unloading,
it was partially requisitioned. Among such personal cargo was the cargo of my brother, received
from his sister, a political worker, as a parcel to the entire
Egorov family (16 people), a cargo totaling
15 poods...
Our family has been engaged in peasant farming for 12 years,
does not have its own house, horse, or bread. Part of the family
is at various fronts of the civil war (Petrograd, Turkestan), part has temporarily
left the army, having been in it voluntarily for
2 years (Western, Southern Fronts), part is preparing for the front, the rest are old and young...

*Give a place in the southeastern part of Turkestan*
Reply: Non-execution -
I want to go to Turkestan and set up a corner of new life there, so that: the Soviet Republic
gives a place in the south-eastern part of Turkestan and allows people to settle there, who thirst -
