AND TO THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEES
Belabay, Buguruslan, Sergievsk, Kinel, Orenburg, Uralsk*
November 4, 1919
The Council of Defense resolved to urgently establish, in Belabay, Buguruslan, Sergievsk, Kinel, Orenburg,
and Uralsk, a total of 7,000 hospital beds in infectious disease sanatoriums. Urgently organize commissions composed of representatives from the Executive Committee, the military commissar, and a representative appointed by the Chief Sanitary Inspector of the Turkestan Front. These commissions are to promptly ascertain the premises eligible for allocation. The Executive Committees must take all necessary measures to secure suitable premises and provide the broadest possible assistance in their renovation and equipping as sanitary camps. The number of beds allocated to each of the aforementioned locations will be specified by the Chief Sanitary Inspector of the Turkestan Front. Reports on the allocation of premises are to be telegraphed to the Council of Defense, with copies sent to the Main Sanitary Administration and the Chief Sanitary Inspector of the Turkestan Front. The provincial executive committees and other relevant supply agencies are to take appropriate measures to ensure that the sanatoriums are provided with the established forms of rations and transportation resources.
