To [comrade] Zinoviev.

I have seen the documents of the new conspiracy and will keep an eye on the case1. It is necessary to supervise - all of them and the Me[nsheviks-oboronts. There is still a lot of treason in Petersburg.

Gorky has become quite sour. He writes to me that his differences with the Communists are deepening. I'm writing him a big letter. I am afraid that in his mood it is impossible to entrust him with Korrespondenz. It would be harmful. He must be sent to the village - directly, he doesn't want to go. By trickery? It's difficult. I don't know what to do. (I am sending you, in confidence, a copy of my letter to Gorky2. Talk to him, if you can, tactfully, and write about your impression of him; I am afraid he will go away).

It is ridiculous to raise the question of Ukraine in the CEC. Their "mistakes" cannot be cured. Fire and iron of Denikinshchina - otherwise there is no cure for such "mistakes".

Send me more details about party members and other things.

NB|| My brochure (speech, I think, 13. III) was salted.

NB|| in Peter3. And I need its preface. Publish it and send it as soon as possible.

Hi!
