## ORDER CONCERNING INSPECTION OF POSTAL AND TELEGRAPH COMMUNICATIONS

**January 9, 1919**

The Council of Workers' and Peasants' Defence orders a special commission consisting of comrades Podelsky, Bakinsky, and Khalepsky to inspect the state of postal and telegraph communications in the institutions, administrations of military transport, both at the centre and in the localities, and in the Field Staff of the Revolutionary Military Council of the Republic.

In the event that criminal negligence on the part of officials responsible for military postal and telegraph communications is discovered, the special commission is instructed to take all necessary measures to stop such criminal activity, including removal of the guilty parties from office and their personal detention pending further orders from the Chairman of the Defence Council.
