# RESOLUTION ON A STATEMENT FROM THE PROVISIONAL WORKERS' AND PEASANTS' GOVERNMENT OF UKRAINE

To Members of the SNK (in accordance with the text of this statement) for information.

¹ The matter concerns a statement addressed to the Chairman of the Council of People's Commissars Comrade V. I. Ulyanov (Lenin), in which the Provisional Workers' and Peasants' Government of Ukraine expresses a request to accept a route train with sugar, as an expression of the ardent desire to "unite with Soviet Russia in the very nearest future in a single and indivisible socialist republic." The statement says that the workers and peasants of localities bordering on Soviet Russia and cleared of Haidamaks and Germans are ready with great joy to give the food supplies they have for their starving elder brother.
