RESOLUTION ON A TELEGRAM FROM TAMBOV PROVINCE

[August 1918, not before the 28th]
Moscow, Central Executive Committee, TO LENIN. The Seventh Company of the First Workers' and Peasants' Socialist Regiment, volunteers of Usman District, standing in the forward trenches on guard of the revolution, is deeply outraged and protests against the accusations being leveled and the removal of a steadfast fighter for the proletariat and the conquests of the October Revolution, Chairman of the Usman Soviet Ispolatov. Curses upon those who have betrayed and turned traitor to an honest old communist, who desired only the good of the poorest peasants and workers.
