Comrades, I agree with comrade Larin that the use of changing the name and dropping the word "workers'" from the party name will indeed have [some effect], but we cannot take this into account. Then we would fall too far into trivialities if we were to reckon with every evil. After all, we are returning to a good old model that is world-renowned. We all know the "Manifesto of the Communist Party"; the whole world knows it. The point is not that the correction consists in the fact that the proletariat is the only thoroughly revolutionary class, that all other classes, including the laboring peasantry, can be revolutionary only insofar as they adopt the standpoint of the proletariat. This is such a foundation, such a world-renowned position of the Communist Manifesto{40}, that there cannot be any scruples of good faith here, and as for those of bad faith, for distortions—one cannot catch up with them anyway. That is precisely why we must return to the old, good, unquestionably correct model, which has played its historical role, having gone around the whole world, all countries; it seems to me there are no grounds to depart from this best model.
