ON THE REPORT BY I. V. STALIN 
REGARDING FOOD PRODUCTS IN THE FRONT-LINE ZONE
Instruct Komprod and VSNKH to send specially appointed persons to Ukraine and all other liberated territories, in addition to those already sent, to extract, in agreement with the commission of Comrade Krasin, all raw materials and all finished products from there.
* The telegram is a response to the following request from the chairman of the Vyshny Volochyok district sovnarhos: "According to the decision of the Council of Defense, the warehouses of military property have been sealed, and inventories are being urgently prepared. Due to the development of typhus in the city and district, which is taking on threatening proportions, the presidium of the district sovnarhos has allowed the Health Department to release hospital property. Taking on great responsibility, we request your sanction."

ON THE REQUEST OF I. V. STALIN 
REGARDING THE RAILWAY LINE URBAKH-ASTRAKHAN
Instruct the deputy chairman of the Revolutionary Military Council of the Republic to find out from the Commander-in-Chief what measures he is taking to prevent a disruption on the railway line Urbach-Astrakhan, in the Vladimirovka area, by the enemy-occupied Tsatsa.

TELEPHONED MESSAGE TO ALL SOVIETS, LOCATED ALONG RAILWAY LINES

In addition to the telephoned message of December 23. In view of the continuing natural disaster that has befallen the Republic—a snow cyclone, to restore disrupted train traffic, it is proposed to introduce temporary additional remuneration for some categories of railway agents, especially locomotive crews, under particularly difficult working conditions, based on the established norm of mileage for these categories of labor, guided by the mileages of previous years. The People's Commissar for Railways will provide detailed instructions on the nature of the additional remuneration introduced hereby.
