Received a complaint from Inan Bogdanov regarding the arrest of his son, Vladimir, aged 17, who is suffering from tuberculosis, on charges of sabotage. Re-examine the case, verify the nature of the illness, the inexperience and youth of the arrested individual,
and, above all, investigate whether the true saboteurs were not
the 30 employees of the Land Commissariat who had refused to work,
shifting the burden onto Bogdanov. Report the results of your investigation. [1196]

Do not yet release the arrested individuals—Dreytser and his wife—without first clarifying the reasons for their detention. He complains that he was arrested for having enforced the decree of 28 December*. [1217]
