I have received a complaint alleging that five Red Army soldiers seized money and personal belongings, and furthermore threatened to execute Nikolai Ivanovich Veretennikov, the owner of a mill and a plot of land in the village of Gavritsy, near Yaroslavl, at the Kurba railway station.
Please telegraph the names of the Red Army soldiers involved; then, ascertain whether there is any evidence to suggest that Veretennikov might be a White Guardist, and outline the decisions made by the local Soviet authorities regarding the mill and the land. Conduct an inquiry into the seizure of money and personal effects.
