Petrovsky
Ispolatov

complains
that
he is
being wanted
arrested
for nothing.
You reportedly know what the matter is
 3.
1 G. I. Petrovsky — People’s Commissar of Internal Affairs of the R.S.F.S.R.
2 N. N. Ispolatov — chairman of the Usman Soviet of Tambov gubernia.
3 To this note from V. I. Lenin there is a reply from G. I. Petrovsky
stating that he does not know the essence of the matter, but has information characterising
the conduct of N. N. Ispolatov from a negative side, and he has requested
the materials of the accusation.
On the reverse of the note with the inscription of the address of N. Ispolatov, who was
in Moscow at that time, there are the following notes by V. I. Lenin: “Ispolatov. Room 25.
Have a talk with Petrovsky.” (Lenin circled the last sentence).
