NOTES TO A. K. PAIKES

[August 15, 1918]

Comrade
Paikes — try to influence, otherwise they will expel or
remove [him], for they sent after him by decree of the Council of People's Commissars.

To Paikes
Now it will be necessary to raise the question here, for
such is the decision just adopted.
Lander is doing stupid and insolent things such that everyone's patience
is bursting, and it is impossible to find even 1 argument for it.
Take the floor
You.
1 At this time, A. K. Paikes was a member of the board of the People's Commissariat of State Control.
The notes were written at a meeting of the Council of People's Commissars on August 15, 1918,
in connection with the analysis of the conflict between the People's Commissar of State Control, K. I. Lander, and a member of the board of this people's commissariat, A. V. Galkin, and the refusal
of K. I. Lander to come to a meeting of the Council of People's Commissars for explanation.
