Communicate immediately to Basmanny, Lefortovo, and Sokolniki districts. "Left" Socialist-Revolutionaries numbering about 100 men are fleeing in this direction with an armored car. Take all measures to detain this armored car*.

Lenin's directive, the Moscow Soviet immediately sent the following telephonogram: "Telephonogram from the Moscow Soviet of Workers' Deputies to Basmanny, Lefortovo, Railway, and Sokolniki districts. "Left" Socialist-Revolutionaries numbering about 100 men are fleeing in this direction with an armored car. Take all measures to detain this armored car. Throw logs on the road, set up other obstacles, securing hand grenades and bombs in advance. Alert workers' organizations in the Moscow suburbs along all roads by which the armored car might escape.
