A compilation of excerpts from the *Berner Tagwacht* and others (all documents on the movement of the Left in Germany and Austria) 120.

This must be republished in book form (in installments) immediately in Switzerland.

Commission someone in Germany (in Berlin) to do similar work based on the *Partei-Archiv* or any library with complete newspaper collections from the period of the war (Rühle's article on the split in the *Vorwärts*, Jan. 12, 1915 or 1916 121 and others).

*Referenten-Material* from Niederbarnim (cited in Legien's pamphlet: "*Warum müssen die Gewerkschaftsführer* u. s. w.") 122 and all this sort of material must be gathered immediately.

Good heavens, it is outrageous that nothing is being done in this field.

For this work one can (and must) hire 2 Germans (Borhardt would be suitable) and 2 Swiss and immediately publish in German, French, and English.
