1 This concerns a Special Investigative Commission formed by the Supreme Military Inspectorate of the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army, composed of V. G. Yudovsky, representative from the Central Executive Committee, A. F. Kaminsky, and S. A. Balandin, secretary of the People's Commissar of Military Affairs. The commission was to investigate the causes of the counterrevolutionary mutiny that broke out in Saratov on 16-18 May 1918.
