[May 13, 1918]

Lenin wrote the note to Y. M. Sverdlov below at a session of the Moscow citywide conference on May 13 in two parts: the first two questions during N. I. Bukharin's speech, the last question during G. Y. Sokolnikov's speech. Lenin's questions are printed in regular type; Y. M. Sverdlov's answers are in smaller type.

1) Did he say that their resolution won in Ivanovo-Voznesensk?

2) Is this correct?

He did say so. I didn't verify it, but it's quite possible.

I will read his resolution in the Central Committee and circulate it? When was this? May 9 or 10?

On Friday.

In response to Lenin's question "May 9 or 10?", Y. M. Sverdlov crossed out the first part of the question: "May 9 or" and underlined "10. V" twice, added "on Friday" and, also underlining these words twice, circled them and connected them with "10. V". —Editor
