Comrade Dzerzhinsky, The bearer, Sidorenko, was my personal secretary for
some days. I was quite satisfied with him. He was dismissed on account of an incident when, being drunk, he
shouted, as I have been informed, that he was “Lenin’s secretary”.

Sidorenko tells me that he deeply regrets it. And personally I am inclined to believe him; the lad is young
and, in my opinion, very good. One must be lenient to youth.

On the basis of all these facts, judge for yourself, and
see what place you can find for him.
