After yesterday's debate, I can limit myself to brief remarks. The resolution indicates what the way out is. The situation is determined not only by the representation of specific classes in the composition of the Provisional Government, but by the fact that it relies upon the Soviet of Workers' and Soldiers' Deputies. From this the conclusion is not that we must submit to this petty bourgeoisie, but that we should form separate groups not in order to separate ourselves from the petty bourgeoisie, but in order to push it forward. The seizure of all the land is a movement forward of the revolutionary people. The replacement of the standing army with a militia – this is movement forward.

Comrade Kamenev is going over to the politics of Tsereteli and Steklov. Of course, no one will say that the Provisional Government is delaying the convocation of the Constituent Assembly unless we say it. Everyone wants to wage war. The question is about the organization of counter-revolution. Control in a time of revolution is deception. Elections could have been set for three days. By listing the "sins," we are providing precise data for agitation. There is no possibility of seeking truth in a contact committee. One cannot control without power. To control by resolutions and so forth – that is pure nonsense. Control – the overcoming of petty-bourgeois illusions, a fog.
