THE STRUGGLE AGAINST KALEIDIN ON THE DON
INSTRUCTION TO THE COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF
December 8 (21), 1917
The Commander-in-Chief, departing to Moscow and from there to the south for military operations against Kaledin, is obligated to inform the Council of People's Commissars daily by direct line (personally or through an adjutant) of exactly whom he, or other military authorities, appoints as responsible persons for directing individual operations, especially for the movement and assembly of troops and for commanding.
