ORDER OF THE PEOPLE’S COMMISSARIAT FOR FINANCE
October 30 (November 12), 1917
The Temporary Deputy People’s Commissar for Finance draws the attention of the inhabitants of Petrograd
to the fact that employees of treasuries and savings banks, disregarding
the interests of the poor and the broad masses of the population, are disrupting the work of the banks.
A strike by officials is impermissible. In all institutions of the People’s Commissariat for Finance, tomorrow, October 31, work
must be conducted at the usual time.

If the strike continues in any institutions of the People’s Commissariat for Finance, the heads of these institutions
will be immediately arrested.
