(The CC must not be in Petrograd, for "Frankfurter Zeitung" and "Vossische Zeitung" reported in detail on Tsereteli and Co.'s proclamation of March 16468—not a word about the CC there.)

It is precisely for elections to the Constituent Assembly (or for the overthrow of the Guchkov and Milyukov government) that we need a special party, our own, which has, in my opinion, fully justified itself during the years 1914-1917.

So? Do the Vperyodites want to enter honestly, in good faith, into this party?

Good!*

They don't want to? I will not make "concessions" and I will not "trade."

Have a frank talk with them, not just once, and write me a note so that I have your answer by Tuesday (at the latest Wednesday morning).

Will you take on retyping on a machine in 2 copies (or in 1 copy) for payment no less than last time, my manuscript of 500 pages (handwritten on octavo sheets?)**. I would publish it immediately in Petrograd.

You would greatly oblige me!

Reply.

Firmly shaking your hand.

Your Lenin

P. S. Lyudmila has left Stockholm. Do not write to Stockholm!

P. P. S. Will you and Olga go to Russia if there is an opportunity, and when? Who else from Geneva would go?
