This is a complete wreck of Marxism!!
j All the lessons and teachings of Marx and Engels
| 1852— 1891 are forgotten and distorted. Marx and
Engels taught to "smash the military-bureaucratic state machine".
Not a word about that. The dictatorship of the proletariat is replaced by the petty-
bourgeois utopia of struggle for reforms. Socialism is reformistically implemented; mass
| strike for reforms — this is what it all boils down to.
Not a word about the struggle against "superstitious belief in the state", about the creation by the pro-
letariat of not parliamentary, but "working, executive and legis- |
lative" representative institut[io- ; ns]. And this in August 1912 — after
Weg zur Macht!— on the eve of the Basel
| manifesto!!
in a special response to an article about revolution, about "political]
revolution"!! There is neither preaching of rev[o- lu]tion, nor elaboration of its questions.

POLEMICS OF KAUTSKY WITH BERNSTEIN.
Bernstein in "Voraussetzungen" accuses Marxism of "Blanquism" (chapter II, b)
and resolutely rejects "dictatorship of the proletariat," and on the question of the Parisian
Commune (quoted by me above, p. 31) * idiotically mixes it with Proudhon, fraudulently
circumvents completely, absolutely bypasses the "smashing"
of the state machine. (Cf.
Bernstein, p.
183 about "dictatorship of the proletariat" = "dictatorship of club orators and writers."
p. 137 about primitive
democracy, without paid officials] etc. and its decline
in the "free" [ha-ha!!] development of trade unions, Webb!!)
