No. 22 (January 20, 1917, p. 41) quotes a pacifist letter from the Independent Labour Party to Wilson (they thank him!!).

Editorial: «Dubious Speech (Pierre Renaudel)... «Our Federations have received... a circular from the «Committee for the Defence of International Socialism», which states that «at the last national congress, it became impossible to reconcile the two currents into which the socialist party is divided; that «any reconciliation whatsoever between the supporters of war to the end and military victory» and those who wish that «peace be restored according to the will of the peoples» appears impossible.
Pressmann revolted against this circular (quotes), accusing it as «schismatic».
