Dear M. N., I received your postcard and thank you very much for the trouble you
have taken to save my pamphlet. Really, you are mistaken in thinking that I
blame you in any way. Not at all! I am sure that without your intervention
it would have been much worse, as the publisher [1] evidently gives an ear to “outside” advice from the philistine camp. It
can’t be helped. One good thing—you have succeeded nevertheless in saving
some part of it (and a fairly large part). All the best wishes for a happy
New Year.
