Dear friend! I am sending you the article2 you wanted to have. It would be good if you could make Marusya correct her German, which is very bad.

Return it when you have read it.

I shake hands firmly1*.

1Lenin's letter is written on the back of the last page of N.K.Krupskaya's letter to I.F.Armand: "...the organization is all the same. In fact, the organization is fictitious, after all. Give Marusa my great greetings, I am very glad that she is with you in Serenberg. Did she leave the gymnasium? How's her drawing and how's her Erfurt program? I hug you tightly, N.K. I will return Grisha's letter in the next time." (The beginning of Krupskaya's letter has not survived).

2V.I.Lenin sent I.F.Armand his article "The Military Program of the Proletarian Revolution" (see: Lenin V.I. Complete Collected Works, vol. 30, pp. 131-143). For publication in the press of the Swiss, Swedish and Norwegian Left Socialists, the article was written in German. In a revised form under the title "On the slogan of 'disarmament'" it was published in the Sbornik Social-Demokrat, No. 2, December 1916. See: ibid. pp. 151-163).
