Dear friend! Nadia told me that the children are calling you to Sweden, but you are not inclined to go. In connection with this, I have the following thought: Now, in view of our friend's** departure from those parts and the break (whether complete or incomplete) with the Japanese, it would be extremely useful for the cause if you could spend several months in Sweden or Norway.

It is even possible that a member of the bureau could manage to come from Russia. If you absolutely reject this plan, write me 2 words (or even silence I will take as a refusal). Then I will stop thinking about it and will not speak with anyone about it.

If, however, you agree in principle, then speak with Grig. and write me; the technical difficulties are probably surmountable. I shake your hand and wish you much more vigor.

Your Lenin

P. S. Since our friend is in a hurry to leave, if this is to be done, it must be begun immediately.
