To G. E. ZINOVIEV. April 18, 1916

It is currently detrimental to send him here—his presence would only be counterproductive; moreover, we would needlessly taint a valuable comrade at the conference. Besides, in one or two months, it will be far more beneficial for him to be back in Russia, where many crucial matters will have been clarified and brought to light.

Greetings. Lenin

P.S. He will only “rest” while working in England; otherwise, he will wear himself out needlessly without purpose.

NB: P.S. If Grimm fails to publish the protest, we must learn of this immediately and publish it ourselves, revising the text by 270.

P.P.S. Where, then, and when will the other theses of Radek be made available for agreement among the Zimmerwald Left???
