Radek and others), and we are including the discussion with the Japanese and Bukharin. We also agree to issuing it as a separate pamphlet (if Bukharin desires this, who could then look at my “tone” beforehand, about which he expressed apprehensions). Then it would be possible to separate the disputes with Bukharin from the general work with Bukharin.

Articles by me and Gr. on defeatism, self-determination, on the vileness of the “Gazeta Robotnicza”, on Chkheidze, on “self-defence” and so on, yours on the “war-industry committees” and so on, by Varin, Safarov (foreigners cannot be included in this symposium) and so on, and anything by Bukharin and the Japanese.

Such is the plan for an agreement on a single symposium.

The Japanese woman cannot refuse, unless she has malicious intentions.

It is impossible to insist on *Kommunist* if it has fallen apart; it is absurd and ridiculous to drag me forcibly into *Kommunist*: they will not drag me in.

But if the Japanese woman does not agree to a special symposium, then it means she has malicious intentions, or (it is all the same for the cause) her policy leads to malicious squabbling.

And then we alone will issue “Symposium of the *Sotsial-Demokrata*”.

I shake your hand warmly.

Yours, Lenin
