Dear Comrade Olga!

I hesitate to write to V. K., for “hurried” letters only serve to exacerbate his nervous condition. Whatever has become of No. 44? Has Kuz’mikha suddenly turned decisively against us? I was in a terrible rush with No. 44—failed to properly revise the articles, didn’t even see the proofs—and then, all of a sudden, everything came to a halt.

And Kuz’mа had demanded the pamphlet by the week before last!! 152
Please scribble a few words: is there any hope of publishing both No. 44 and the pamphlet?? When can we expect either one—or both??

There are several points in the pamphlet that need to be added and corrected.

We absolutely must have the proofs in hand.

Best regards to V. K.

Yours, V. Ulyanov

P.S. And isn’t “Peuple” 153 quite good?? We’re firmly behind Vanderwelle!!

To Geneva
