[June 21, 1915]

Dear friends! Three weeks have passed. I repeat the invitation to both young ladies to visit us and walk in the mountains. Take Panasiuk if he studies well, and anyone else you can. Travel to station Schupfheim (line Bern—Lucerne through Langnau). Cost = 3 francs 20 in one direction. From there by horse:
post 1 franc 60 from Schupfheim (8 km) to Flühli and from Flühli to Sorenberg (2 francs).

The last part (10 km) can be walked, the road is excellent, a riding road, along the telegraph line. Post once a day from Flühli to Sorenberg, namely at 9 o'clock from Schupfheim. If you leave at 2:05 in the afternoon from Bern, then at 4 o'clock you can leave from Schupfheim (from there, from the restaurant opposite the station, you can and should telephone us at Hotel Marienthal either about sending a horse from here, or so that I might walk out to meet you).

There are many mountains here, both small and large (Rothorn 2351 m.—if the young ladies want to go up it, let them bring permission from papa and mama, or else I will be afraid to take [them] far into the mountains,—high up, they may get tired). There are flowers, etc.

As soon as the weather improves, we beg you to honor us with a visit!! (The last few days the weather has been poor, rain and thunderstorms).

Best regards to all! Your V. Ulyanov
