possibility whatsoever of obtaining even a small sum of money here. Unfortunately, there is no possibility at all. Viktor (he is now in Genoa and leaves for home on 30. IX or 1. X) firmly promised me he would send money: I will immediately forward it to you as soon as I receive it. There is nothing new here. Russian newspapers arrive with considerable delay. Grigory with his family has been here for quite some time and sends you his regards. Warm greetings to your family from all of us. I hope to receive a note from you soon.
