ABOUT MALINOVSKY'S EXPULSION

Malinovsky wants to be excluded from the party - in some circles this proposal is sympathetic. But this proposal is unreasonable and only a nervous atmosphere can explain it.

Malinovsky has committed an act2 that is deeply disorganizing, has grossly violated party discipline. This is indisputable. He was condemned for it decisively and vociferously in the pages of the organ of the great majority of the conscious workers of Russia, "Puti Pravda". Condemned by a number of workers' organizations and governing institutions. He recognized his own guilt, realized the complete untenability of his arguments. He removed himself from all and any responsible positions.

The case is clear. Before us we have a breakdown, a political suicide in the fullest and most precise meaning of the word.

For a period of time, probably very long and in any case until a new decision of the conscious workers themselves, Malinovsky is completely expelled from the workers of the proletarian party. The punishment is very cruel.

Shall we punish more? Punish by exception? It would only mean to show cruelty to a broken man and to make him nervous beyond measure. And one cannot exclude a man who, realizing his guilt, has withdrawn and withdrawn himself, feeling that he will have to gain confidence again and again if he is ever to return to political activity.

The suggestion of exclusion is unreasonable. Malinowski has ended in political suicide and has been punished enough. Those who said: one has broken, the RSDRFraction is alive and going briskly and firmly forward were right. Long live the RSDDF!

There remain the stupid, mean and dirty antics of Messrs. Martov and Dan in the liquidationist paper. These gentlemen have nothing left but to insinuate, to slander, to splash slop - that is what they are burenin3. 3. "Branded heroes of speckled cards" - correctly said about these dirty publicists, whose works even Kautsky called "disgusting "4.

These filthy Mr. Martovs5 have made a political capital for themselves - and they have failed once again. The workers have already expressed their disgusting contempt for them. Let them wallow in their filth, that's the way to them. Let them promise to "investigate" themselves: please, please, gentlemen Burenins and Pranaitis6! The workers have appreciated you, the turner Belenin has branded your vicious deed7! The bourgeois democrats from the Kharkov "Utra" have honestly apologized8, and the liquidators, Mr. Martov and K°, continue to stink. Stink!!!

The workers have realized that the liquidators who have been removed from their posts have nothing left but the craft1* of the Burenins. Do your work, Mr. Martov-Burenins, you will surprise no one, no one will pay attention to you!

The editorial board of 'Utra' apologizes, first of all, to Malinovsky, then to the Social-Democratic faction and to society."
