LETTER TO G. L. SHKLOVSKY
[Between December 4 and 13, 1913]
Dear G. L.!
Thank you for the documents.
You have not understood the situation. Heinemann has been of use to us,
for he has revealed the plan of the liquidationist-aiding Vorstand (this is
b e t w e e n u s, of course!). Now we will be able to take measures.
The Central Committee will discuss them.
The “action” of the MCB will of course have to wait. We shall wait.
And in the meantime we shall undertake all sorts of reconnaissances.
Zgraggen must now sit quietly and wait. He has turned out to be very weak and cowardly—well, what can be done about it!
What news is there of the Plekhanovites and Plekhanov?
Greetings to the family! Yours, V. I.
What is the state of the correspondence with Ducos? Inform me
of all steps. We shall undertake nothing for the time being: we shall wait.
