Ul. Lubomirskiego. 51.

Dear Comrade, I fully understand your indignation against the scoundrels from the so-called Central Committee, but I would advise the commission first nonetheless to obtain a formal refusal from the Central Committee. This can certainly be achieved (Rosa Luxemburg's address as a member of the International Socialist Bureau, etc.), and without this, the ISB probably will not intervene, and the question will be dismissed on formal grounds. Do not improve the situation of Tyshka and Co. by a step on your part that could provoke the ISB's refusal.

I advise the commission to write a cautious informational letter to Guésmans (pressing chiefly on the fact that Z. G.* refuses verification of his "court" by the court of parties affiliated with the ISB operating in Russia) with a request to help shame (respectively to morally influence) the Central Committee. This is better than a premature formal appeal with the risk of failure.

If Plekhanov answers you, then you will, I hope, inform me.

With s.-d. greetings, N. Lenin
