Dear Comrade! Nadya sent you my little note today.* I hasten to inform you, so that there should be no misunderstanding and so that you do not fall into error at the lecture, that yesterday a meeting of "Social-Democrats," enemies of the conference, took place in Paris. They all adopted a resolution of protest against the conference (the Plekhanovites, the Golosovtsy, the Vperyodists, the conciliators, and tutti quanti**), and also something in the nature of my expulsion from the International Socialist Bureau (I am passing this on by hearsay, since the Beks and supporters of the conference were not at the meeting, of course).

Naturally, all this is laughable. If these gentlemen could not even hold on to the Foreign Bureau of the Central Committee (have a laugh at the lecture about Plekhanov's funeral speech in No. 15 of the Dnevnik, 2nd supplement!), then now they can create even less. Well then, my dears, not words but deeds: you boast that you have united. By all means, unite in Nasha Zarya and Zhivoye Dyelo, and above all in Golos Sotsial-Demokrata.

Comedians!

A handshake and best wishes for success.

Yours, Lenin
