Nikolai

Translated from German

1 The present statement was directed by V. I. Lenin to K. Zetkin together with a resolution of the Foreign Organizational Commission and a letter from Nikolai (G. K. Ordzhonikidze).

G. K. Ordzhonikidze — member of the RSDLP from 1903, a Bolshevik. In 1912 at the Prague Conference he was elected to the Central Committee and the Bureau of the Central Committee of the RSDLP in Russia. In 1921–1926 he was chairman of the Caucasian Bureau of the Central Committee, then first secretary of the Transcaucasian Regional Committee of the Party and held other responsible posts. Member of the Central Committee of the RCP(b).

2 In the Central Party Archive of the Institute of Marxism-Leninism at the Central Committee of the CPSU under No. 2778 is stored a resolution of the Foreign Organizational Commission, printed as a separate sheet, with a note in V. I. Lenin's hand: "Released 22.XI."

3 The letter to K. Zetkin signed by Nikolai (G. K. Ordzhonikidze) was apparently written on the instructions of V. I. Lenin. In the Central Party Archive of the Institute of Marxism-Leninism at the Central Committee of the CPSU there exists only a typewritten copy of this document in the German language.
