LETTER TO K. ZETKIN
Paris, 16. XI [19]11
Dear Comrade!
Upon receiving my letters of 30. X. and 1 [November], you asked me to be patient for a few days, as you were busy until 6–10. XI.
I replied that I would wait until 12–15. XI.
Today is 16 November, and I have no answer from you whatsoever.
I consider this an indication that you do not agree to the peaceful resolution of the matter I proposed and wish, without fail, for open war and a trial.
Placing all responsibility for this upon you, I declare to you that if within three days I do not receive any satisfactory answer, I shall set the matter on its lawful course, with all the consequences arising therefrom.
With Party greetings, N. Lenin (Vl. Ulyanov)
VI. Oulianoff.
