1V.I.Lenin was to travel to the VIII Congress of the Second International, the venue of which was chosen as Copenhagen. Before leaving Lenin, N.K.Krupskaya and her mother E.V.Krupskaya rested in the place Pornic on the shore of the Bay of Biscay (France). Lenin left for Copenhagen on August 10 (23), 1910. In Pornic, Lenin received a certificate he had ordered from the Berg Tourist Bureau (Paris) about the time of departure of the train Paris - Hamburg - Copenhagen - Stockholm and the cost of return tickets. The published notes were made by Lenin on the back of this certificate, probably in Paris or Copenhagen, in connection with his planned trip to Stockholm to meet his mother (M.A.Ulyanova) and sister (M.I.Ulyanova) and to choose a route to return to Paris. Lenin was in Stockholm from September 12 to September 25, 1910 (A.D.).
