Dear Manya!

Greetings from Naples. Today I am going to Capri, where I think I will stay for a short time. I am having a wonderful time walking around.

Best regards and greetings to all acquaintances.

* The letter-postcard was sent to V.I. Lenin's younger sister, M.I. Ulyanova, from Naples (Italy), where Lenin arrived by steamer from Marseille, on his way to the island of Capri to visit A.M. Gorky. At the same time, he sent a postcard to his mother, M.A. Ulyanova, who was then staying with her younger son, D.I. Ulyanov, in Mikhailovo near Moscow (see: Lenin, V.I. Collected Works, Vol. 55, p. 315).

Lenin arrived on the island of Capri on June 18 (July 1) 1910. During his stay with Gorky, he met with A.A. Bogdanov, A.V. Lunacharsky, and others. He left on July 1 (14) 1910.
