Dear Comrades! Yesterday’s exchange of views with your representatives in the general Party institution 280 showed us that your delegates are wavering in waging a resolute struggle for Party spirit and against the liquidators, embarking on the path of “conciliationism”, which objectively serves only the liquidators. Wavering at such a crucial turning point in Party life, in our profound conviction, will benefit only the enemies of the Party.

We shall be compelled to pursue the line of Party spirit without your delegates or, perhaps, even against

them. We hereby inform you of this in a few words, without delay. In detail, we shall settle accounts with you in the very next few days, most likely in print.
We hope you understand why it is to you, an organisation to which we are so close ideologically and politically, that we address ourselves in the first instance.
With comradely greetings,
Members of the editorial board of the Central Organ – Bolsheviks: Lenin
