I shall be very glad to see you here. As to the environs of Geneva, I can say little definite: I have been ill ever since returning from London, I stay at home, I do not see the summer holiday folk. I know that in France and at the same time near Geneva there are many good and not very expensive places. For example, Mornex on the slope of Mont Salève, that is, fairly high up. A friend of mine lived there in 1904, and there, I think, one can settle cheaply and keep house for oneself, while in boarding houses it is more expensive, but for 4–4½ frs. certainly, since that is the usual price. Farther from Geneva (Mornex is about 7 versts, I believe, and there is an electric tram to Salève) – about 10 versts and more, on the slope of the Jura one can also settle, but I do not know the places there. I shall try to find out something more definite and shall write to you immediately as soon as I manage to learn something.

I warmly shake your hand. Yours, Lenin
