CORRECTION IN V. VOROVSKY'S ARTICLE "LIBERAL UNIONS
AND SOCIAL-DEMOCRACY".
No. 18 OF "PROLETARY," SEPTEMBER 26 (13), 1905
In the era of the beginning of open appearances, social democrats must especially strictly avoid any reasons for such
demoralization,1 must directly and clearly appeal directly
to the working class, educating it in a strictly party spirit.

The issue concerns the demoralization that could be brought about
by the entry of party members into professional-political unions of
intellectual professions (doctors, engineers, etc.), unions united
in 1905 by a common political organization - "Union of Unions."
Lenin develops his viewpoint on this issue in detail in his large insertion
into this article. This insertion was published in Works, VIII, 230-4231.
* These lines, written by Lenin, were then crossed out by him
Editor.
