We have received a letter from the Central Committee, informing us that the “Armenian Social-Democratic Labour Organisation” has expressed a desire to subscribe to the resolution adopted at the conference of all social-democratic parties. But the Central Committee does not agree to accept this signature, since it was opposed to the participation in the conference of this organisation, a purely émigré one without serious connections in Russia.[^1] We hope shortly to publish in *Proletary* more detailed information on the true character of this organisation. For the present, let it be noted that all who wish to assist the genuinely social-democratic movement among the Armenian workers in the Caucasus (and not in Geneva) must deal only with the Caucasian organisations of the Russian Social-Democratic Labour Party, which publish Armenian literature in the Caucasus, and not in Geneva.

[^1]: In a letter to the CC of September 7, 1905 (see *Leninsky Sbornik* V, pp. 192—194), Lenin gave a reasoned objection to the inclusion of the said Armenian organisation among the participants in the September conference. (For detailed information on the conference, see *Works*, Vol. VIII, pp. 457—459 and 505—507, notes 147 and 148.)
