At the request of Comrade V. A. Vasidiy, I hereby clarify the passage he cited from my resolution (which states that individuals may emerge who perform their duties poorly yet are quick to gossip about the shortcomings of others). The assumption that I intended here to accuse anyone, and so forth, is unfounded. Every party worker has his own shortcomings and areas of weakness in his work; however, one must be cautious not to cross the line—when criticizing flaws or analyzing them before the party’s central bodies—beyond which begin the realms of…
