Workers, organize!
Deals are being made (state) apart from the people, behind their backs: the program of the Union of Liberation, Struve's statement.
Workers, as chair à canon * for these deals: 9 I.
No guarantees of ensuring proletarian freedom.
The only means: organization into a social-democratic party.
Thousands of ways, forms, and types of such organization.
Only such organization is a guarantee of the armed struggle of the proletariat for revolution.
1 The document represents a plan for a leaflet or article. All points of the plan were developed in Lenin's articles: "Revolutionary Struggle and Liberal Haggling" and "Democratic Tasks of the Revolutionary Proletariat" in Nos. 3 and 4 of "Proletary" of June 9 (May 27) and June 17 (4), 1905 (Works, VII, 339-351).
2 The program of the Union of Liberation was first published in the newspaper "Novosti" of April 18 (5) and in Nos. 69-70 of "Osvobozhdeniye" of May 20 (7), 1905. Struve's commentaries on the program, signed I. S., were also published here in Nos. 69-70. In his articles, Lenin repeatedly touched upon both Struve's statements in this commentary and the program itself. In addition to the above-mentioned articles from Nos. 3 and 4 of "Proletary," see also Works, VIII, 53.
