[August, before 29, 1905. Geneva.]

From the Editorial Board. Reprinting this article from the organ of the Caucasian Union of the R.S.D.L.P. ("Borba Proletariata" ["The Proletarian Struggle"] No. 1, in Russian; No. 6 appeared in Armenian, No. 9 in Georgian), we for our part note that the Caucasian Mensheviks are perhaps the first to have ventured to come out in print not only with unsubstantiated abuse against the Congress (in the spirit of the new Iskra), but also with an attempt to dispute the representation of precisely defined committees of the Party. The Caucasian Union, in its organ, calmly and thoroughly refuting the arguments of the Mensheviks, has excellently proved the full legality of the 3rd Congress of the R.S.D.L.P. even on the condition that the five mandates disputed by the Mensheviks were to be declared invalid.
