1At the Third Congress of the RSDLP on April 23 (May 6), 1905, Lenin, speaking on the question of practical agreements with the SRs, announced the published list sent by G. A. Gapon. Lenin named the Ukrainian Socialist Party as the eighteenth organization (not on the list) (see: Lenin, V.I. Complete Works, vol. 10, pp. 180-181 and 446-447).

A conference of a number of Russian social-democratic and socialist parties, convened on Gapon's initiative, opened on March 20 (April 2), 1905, in Geneva. "We, representatives both from the editorial board of the Forward and from the Bureau of the majority committees," Lenin said at the Third Congress of the RSDLP, "have appeared at the conference. We saw here that the conference is a toy in the hands of the S.-R." (Ibid., p. 181). On March 21 (April 3) Lenin left the conference.
