I hear you are thinking of giving a mandate to one of the local members. If this rumor is true, then I would allow myself to advise giving a mandate to both of your local candidates, i.e., to Josephine and Daniel, specifically: one with a decisive vote, and the other with a consultative one (i.e., to write a letter to the congress stating that the Odessa Committee requests the congress to admit Josephine, as a member of the Southern Bureau, a very useful consultative worker, or, for example, Daniel, who knows the periphery excellently and has worked remarkably energetically among the Odessa proletariat, with a consultative vote). You can be sure that the congress will respect such a request from the committee. Please read this letter to all members of the committee and reply to me by the 25th.

P.S. Do you accept workers into the committee? This is necessary, absolutely necessary!

Why do you not connect us directly with the workers? Not a single worker writes to "Vperyod." This is a scandal. We must have dozens of worker correspondents at any cost. I would very much ask that this part of the letter also be read not only to all members of the committee but also to all organizers and agitators of the majority.

Greetings to all! Your Lenin in the journal
